From NIS America, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is a JRPG that brings some new gameplay and narrative elements into the field of a very hard to compete genre. The game delivers some interesting ideas to the table such as in game rewards, an interesting world to explore and an abundance of fourth wall breaking. Now does the game stand up to its competitors or does it cower before the presence of more dominant and well established JRPGs? Let’s have a look and find out.
Gary Green said: The concept for a good sequel is not a complicated thing. You take your original idea and expand on the lore, then you fix anything that was broken the first time around. You might want to introduce some new features too; This is fine so long as you don’t go overboard, and you don’t change the overall flow of the game. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory ticks all of these boxes, so surely then it should be the perfect package? Well, almost. It really is rather good.
Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "Hyperdimension Neptunia is huge. It’s a massive series that covers tons of games, all of which are sort of connected? Though also not really, because quite a few are spin-offs and non-canon. It’s a lot to take in, to be sure. With Megadimension Neptunia VII on the horizon, we here at Michibiku felt like we should offer an overview of the main series’ installments."

This is a great series, some people do not like it but thats what a niche is about.
Personally, love the art style and the game references and jokes are great. The combat can get a little boring but what games does not have its faults.
I have a guilty conscience in playing this game, since it is very likable but also hard to like at the same time. I really adore this game's characters, simple storyline, voice acting and art design despite some of it's major gameplay issues.
At the very least, I have fun with playing this game compared to some other JRPGs.
Its a fun game, dunno why reviewers keep bashing it.
