DHGF: The game is based on a movie about the past, which feels appropriate because The Croods: Prehistoric Party is a game that belongs in the past. Like it belongs back in the NES days when many publishers would just put out a licensed game with little work or thought into the final product. The Croods: Prehistoric Party feels as though Dreamworks figured they needed something that looked like a video game to go along with their big children’s movie, but didn’t care much what the final product looked like.

ChristCenteredGamer Sea Battle Review

Of the two game games in this bundle, we found Madegascar 3 to be better since it has a story, decent characters, and good graphics. The Croods Prehistroric Party looks horrible, does not support multiplayer (despite having the word party in its title), and is merely a compilation of bland button mashing mini-games.

Vdeo game publisher and distributor NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today announced the release of two Nintendo exclusive combo-packs based on DreamWorks Animation animated films. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted and The Croods: Prehistoric Party! are now both available for a Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS pack, whereas Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game and The Croods: Prehistoric Party! are both available for an exclusive Wii pack.
