I enjoyed LM3 well enough but honestly, I was expecting more. I want to see Nintendo get a little more ambitious with IP's like Luigi's Mansion. Expand the dev budget for a game like this and increase production value. I want to see LM expand into a true free-roaming "open world" type of game. Break away from the fixed plane level design and give Luigi the same kind of freedom Mario has in say, Odyssey.

Holy crap did I eat those words...not only did nostalgia flood through me during the whole hour I played (i missed my bus stop lol) but you DO NOT NEED THE CIRCLE PAD PERIOD.
I couldn't be more impressed by how easy, manageable and just perfect the controls are....
I'd give this game a 9/10 for sure...I'd give it more if it was "a little" more challenging and if the frames wouldn't drop noticably during cut scenes...:(
Either way, timeless classic..would buy 3Ds for this alone...I'm about ready to say I like this more than even paper Mario and NSMB2 (actually nSMB2 was pretty bad)....this and Mario 3D land = win:)
Now waiting for Jak and Soul for Vita;D
My portable game of the year (so far..lol)... probably until soul sacrifice comes out..
