Kalypso Media Digital Ltd. have today launched the long awaited Alien Spidy, available to download now for Xbox 360, Mac and Windows PC. Developed by Enigma Software, Alien Spidy is a platform videogame that challenges players to maintain momentum while being aware of obstacles both directly in front of them and further ahead.

Kalypso Media Digital Ltd has today set a whole new challenge to all fans of action plat-former Alien Spidy with the release of the new Easy Breezy DLC for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft (other formats will follow soon). Easy Breezy unlocks three new ‘special’ levels, one in each environment, and will see gamers’ web slinging skills really put to the test.
I saw this awhile back when they announced it as a Vita game. Now, it turns out, the developer tried to pass it off as a Vita game to try to cash in on the Vita hype and attract attention, but there was never actually a Vita version in development. The developers came clean about that on their blog.
If it's not going to be coming to a platform, the honest thing to do would be not to showcase it at events for that platform. I'm not sure outright lying to consumers to try and attract publisher attention is the way to go, but I wish them the best of luck. This is the type of game I would have considered picking up on XBL or PSN, but I don't appreciate being lied to. I know I'm not going to be supporting them.
