The end result is a game you'll mostly just play online (if you can find anyone) or with up to four players locally (since only one copy of the UMD is required). That's nice, but if everyone's in the same room already, why wouldn't you play the board game instead?
You'll love:
- Addictive play mechanics
- Cute outfits to unlock
- Seeing favorite characters
You'll hate:
- Delays while AI thinks
- There's not much to it
- More delays while AI thinks

"Do games like Virtual On, Mech Assault, and Armored Core make you weep with gaming euphoria? Do you enjoy feeling the earth beneath your hulking metal feet tremble as you blast fools directly INTO said earth? Did you eat your Wheaties this morning? Have you heard of a little company called Atlus?
If you answered "YES" to the logical majority of these questions then mark your calendars NOW for Steambot Chronicles Battle Tournament."
I loved the older Armored Core.. also loved Chromehounds on the 360.. looking forward to picking this one up!
Awesome news Atlus keep up the awesome work. Also great news on seeing more PSP games.
When are they (or, I guesss, Irem) going to show us more about Steambot Chronicles 2!?
We need more companies like Atlus for the PSP. Also Nis is just as good. Prinny is sweet!

So okay, Pipemania didn't come out a week early. It's coming out now. Blockus didn't come out in Europe last month either and while it's listed yet again for this week, we're shaking our heads -- it's probably not happening. Anyway, we like seeing a full week such as this; it's the third one in a row no less.
NA Games:
Pipemania
Valhalla Knights 2
EU Games:
Blockus
Brave Warrior's Tale
FIFA 09
Asian Games:
Ikkitousen: Eloquent Fist [Limited Edition]
To Love Ru Trouble: Doki Doki! Rinkaigakkou-Hen [Limited Edition]
As for Japan, they're getting high school girls + explosive clothing ... enough said.
Oh man psp's game list is pathetic. PSP is just so superior...what the hell gamers are thinking?
This is by far one of the neatest titles that has ever graced the PSP. Game Chronicles have a feeling that this will be a big hit of fans of the original board game and even to people looking for something to pass the time with. Game Chronicles highly recommend Blokus Portable: Steambot Championship to anyone looking for something new and to all those fans of the original classic.
