This is the TurboGrafx at its best. It's been a common comment of IGN's in the past year or so that the amount of forced-scrolling shooters coming to the Virtual Console has been oppressive, especially since the vast majority seem to have come from the TurboGrafx platform. And while that's still the case (IGN even got another one just last week) it's been a reality that's been worth enduring, if only for the promise of eventually seeing the release of the true masterpieces of the genre that originated with the Turbo brand. One of them arrived in October, in the form of Gate of Thunder. And now, finally, the second has appeared as well.
It's no secret that Wii had tons of awesome TurboGrafx titles yet none are available for Wii U. Sure, you can download a few in Japan but we're not as lucky in the west.
More important than that, downloadable GBA and DS games need to be playable on 3DS.
I was just looking at buying a TG16. Boy have they gone up in price. I would love to see some of the better games on wiiu.
Imagine if Nintendo released an online store that has every single game from their past instead of trickling out 2 games a week. Some day maybe..
There are some real gems here, and you can buy them without any problems.
Thank god i still have the original Einhander for the PSone but i would really love it if it was released digitally so i can play it on my Vita.

I remember having Ghouls and Ghosts for my Commodore 64. It was a hard game, but quite good. Never played Lords of Thunder though.
