"I don't go to nightclubs terribly often, but I bet I would if more of them played this song, featured in Microsoft and Rare's 2005 Xbox 360 launch title, Perfect Dark Zero.
It's titled "Limelight", and plays within the nightclub during the second mission. It's a bubbly, happy-go-lucky tune that gels nicely into the background and would be right at home in an actual nightclub, even if it had to be one from the 60's. It has this sort of sparkly, elegant radiance to it that leads me to hesitate before calling it an optimistic version of Guile's Theme, since it really could fit into the context of any situation provided it's a positive one. Oh gosh, don't tell me I've started a meme..." (Michael Urban, OnlySP.com)
With the Perfect Dark reboot set to launch later this year, it's time to look back at Perfect Dark Zero, nearly 20 years later.
At the rate xbox is going you'll have another 20 years to play the original before the reboot arrives
Perfect Dark Zero launched alongside the Xbox 360 back in 2005, to much criticism. 18 years later, is it worth another look?
Perfect Dark Zero was the first game that I purchased for my XBOX 360. I still have the game in my collection. I think I played it for about 45 minutes in total over the past 18 years. It's a really bad game, and I was so disappointed when I first fired it up almost 20 years ago.
I had fun with the mutiplayer. Didnt feel like Perfect Dark, but still had some fun with it
Full remakes of games are here to stay, and that's why we've thought up a list of 10 video game sequels and prequels that deserve a full remake.
Just can't take this list serious when they mention DA:2 and what they said about it.
Parasite Eve
The Bouncer
Dino Crisis
Metal Gear Solid
Silent Hill
Final Fantasy VIII
Croc Legend of the Gobbos
Chrono Trigger
Sonic Adventure
Mario Sunshine
I had a blast playing this game during the first year of 360.
Hope we see a new Perfect Dark someday. I really enjoyed it as a launch title on the 360 and the N64 version was amazing also.
this franchise has so much potential.
hopefully, a new entry makes its way for the next xbox.
Underrated title that was actually really fun when it first came out. As said above I hope a new entry comes out soon.
Imagine if Starbucks used this music.
