That blame goes to Konami. Look up the interviews with Mercury Steam. Shows why all the stuff with Kojima wasn't all that surprising to me.
Well whether it's 9 hours or 16 that is stilla good amount of gametime for this. So in the end I can bet you we will be more than happy. I love Lords of Shadow to death. It was a massive and immersive title and looked and felt incredible. I will enjoy this as well along side LOS2. :)
Actually 9-16 hours is not bad. Most of the 2D Castlevanias were like 5 hours.

Wow I didnt know they made Jericho. I liked that game. Not so much the ending though.
