The adorable, long-necked and ravenous burger muncher has previously made his way from the PSP to the Vita via minis and PSM. Now he's coming lolloping on to the Vita proper with trophies, leaderboards and new upgrades, skins (including the scary-sounding Mecha Giraffe) and power ups.
Sometimes you just want to bury your face into a burger, or tear into a taco. Out on the African savanna, a Hungry Giraffe feels your pain. A 20 foot tall, 1200kg animal like the giraffe needs to chow down on tons of food each day just to stay alive, and now you can help achieve that on your Vita.

Whether you're a fan of paying to unlock features from within a game or not, there's no doubt that this payment model needs to be carefully employed so that it doesn't become intrusive or break the immersion.
Take Hungry Giraffe. On PSP it was a wonderful eat-'em-up. On PS Vita it's drowning in pleas for cash, and the main spectacle is completely destroyed as a result.
