If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Yeah I agree. Make a dead space 3, but have an original story/setting. They’ve proven they can do the game justice, and I think they could evolve 2 in a good direction, keeping a similar tone. I’d love s Dead Space 2 and 3 though. The remake was fantastic. Top tier remake, up there with RE2.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.

Now, i am not saying that dead space 3 is a bad game. It isnt by any means. There are so many great things about it. Heres the issue. U dont change games in the middle. If EA wants to create a new ip with no HUD, a great environment, co op, custimization etc., go ahead. But dead space fans lovevdead space because it was scary. It was the new resident evil. When u broaden the genre to reach more ppl, u turn off those who loved it. It counter productive.
I'm having a blast 9.5 out 10. and the coop is awesome by the way.
I'm a great fan of the first game and I liked the second. But I doubt I'll get DS3 for a while since it takes the series in a direction I don't like.
