InnoGames has revealed that the closed beta for hotly-anticipated pirate action videogame, Kartuga, will take place later this month. When the beta launches, pre-registered players will have the opportunity to be among the first to conquer the world from their browser in this Unity 3D multiplayer adventure.
Before even hitting the market properly, piratical MMO Kartuga has been axed, with developer Ticking Bomb Games closing its doors. Publisher InnoGames explain a shift in priorities has signalled the end of the game, which was "unable to fulfill high expectations" during the closed beta stage.

InnoGames have just revealed the first ever PvP mode heading to their high-seas action MMO, Kartuga. The 3D action MMO welcomes Domination, the first PvP mode that will see up to 8 players participate in a fight to the death! In typical Domination fashion players will be tasked with locating and maintaining control of unique capture points which are represented by ghost ships
