Namco Bandai has announced a surprising localization today: Project X Zone.
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "These days it seems like every game character just has to crossover into another’s game. Just recently we had a bunch Sub-Zero showing up in Injustice 2, Link in Mario Kart 8 and Shovel Knight popping up… well everywhere. And it’s not like this trend is going to end anytime soon, not with games like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Marvel VS. Capcom: Infinite and Final Fantasy XV getting in on the crossover action. So for this week’s top 10 we’ve decided to countdown the best crossovers in gaming history! The only rule we have is that more that one company has to be involved, so cameo appearances don’t count!"
Koji Ishitani, co-producer of Project X Zone and Project X Zone 2, has left Monolith Soft, the developer announced on Twitter.
“As of the end of last week, on March 31, I resigned from Monolith Soft, which I belonged to for about 16 years,” Ishitani said in a tweet. “I was involved with works from Xenosaga Episode I to Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean to Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier EXCEED to Project X Zone 2, but to everyone who supported me and worked with me, and above all else to those who played the games, thank you very much!”
Ishitani isn’t the only developer to leave Monolith Soft with the start of the new fiscal year. Project X Zone director Soichiro Morizumi also announced his leave this weekend.
lot of senior Japanese developers leave their companies lately ...what happens?? will they form new ones? will they continue developping for consoles? ...its kind of worrisome
Aoni Production reported on Thursday that voice actress Yuko Mizutani passed away from breast cancer on Tuesday. She was 51.
In video games, Mizutani played Queen Minnie in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, Iris in Project X Zone, and Militsa in Tales of Rebirth, among others.
The 3DS line up for North America and Europe is coming into place for 2013. Looks to be a great year for the 3DS, but an even better year for Multiconsole gamers.
they should fix their article because that's not Project x Zone, all those pictures are from some Naruto game....
Very nice!
Not too surprising considering the last RPG in Namco's X series made it overseas.
Though I'm a bit worried still, I mean the those other two X RPGs where terrible.
It's definitely worth the wait, I'm on Chapter 10 on the Japanese version of the game and I'm loving it so far....though not 100% it'll take off in the west
