At $250, the Wii isn't cheap, but it's still a bargain compared to the $599 PlayStation 3 and the $399 Xbox 360 Premium system. And unlike Sony, which is only making 400,000 PS3s available at launch, Nintendo says it will ship four million Wii units by December 31st. So it's likely you'll actually be able to get one. But it's also likely that you'll be just as able to get an Xbox 360 with its more than 100 available titles by year's end. For now, only one thing's for sure: Until Sony gives us a compelling reason to buy the PS3 beyond it being an incredibly affordable Blu-ray disc player, either of these other choices is a winner.
VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."
Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Nintendo has announced the SNES and Super Famicom games gracing the Nintendo Switch Online library this month, and there are some gems to enjoy.
Strange headline, as I thought the star of the show was Super RType. I almost bought RType Dimensions EX this last month and was just thinking, man I wish we had the SNES one somewhere on Switch. That's where I got my start w the series and I was beyond excited to see it drop this week!
but 360 is a bargain...
bargain is if the two products are compareable...
wii is like ending up bying a bicycle while u intended to buy a car...
it head on, the 360 is the console of choice for people who think before they buy, 100+ games plus costs a little more than a gamecube with motion controller.
ps3 is a bargain ! the best console and it has the best games! and you can buy it for 500 bucks. who needs crap for 400 bucks ? who ? noone.
Is the reason all SONY fans and all XBOX fans need to join together as one and put this sneaky monster they call "THE WII" to rest....
Next month the "wii" will crush both SONY and XBOX and none of us will even know it happened untill it is to late. Because we all sit here and argue over the PS3 and xbox360 while the wii is getting ready to kill them both, and if that happens what are we going to have to argue about on here?????
That is why we must unite and make one HUGE fan of the dead wiiwii...Burn wii burn;)
The wii… as Nintendo viewed it, is not meant to compete with the ps3 and the xbox 360… but I think it will do great… many of us is very impressed by the controllers… but I think in the long run, people will get tired of the controller too… it’s not meant for everyday use… come on, just imagine… you came home from a very tiring day… you want to play a game… would you rather play with the Wii, where you will have to swing your arms around and stand up until the end of the game, or the PS3 or 360, where you could just sit or lie on your back until you finish? I would obviously pick the latter. But that’s where the standard GC controllers come in. When you don’t want to use the controllers, you could just plug standard GC controller and play the game… but in the end, you will realize, what’s new? Did I have a great gaming experience when I played the Wii using standard GC controller? Is there really something different with the Wii and the GC? Yeah, true, having those very innovative controllers this gen is a great idea… but in time, people will realize that there really is nothing new with the Wii… just the controllers… a few tweaks in the hardware, and that’s it… and also remember, developers make a game for the wii, concentrating on how they could utilize the Wiimote… if you play it with ordinary controller, the experience is almost the same with GC…
