Don’t we all get frustrated when we have a favorite game or publisher or even console that doesn’t quite live up to our expectations? It can feel like we got slapped in the face for throwing our money down on something isn’t what it was perceived to be or did not match what was presented to us in the past. When a game gets popular it is because of the fans, it is because what we were shown was something we enjoyed which is why fans come back to buy next installments of games or the next big console. There have been a few major things in the gaming industry that has made their fan base feel betrayed by a company’s actions; leaving gamers upset around the world. Out of the handful of reasons to feel upset by a certain game some have abandoned everything they made themselves to be, abandoned their fans to get a step ahead with money. When thinking about getting ‘thrown under the bus’ we are sure a few choice names in the gaming industry come to mind but which ones are the most deceiving?
There are no thoughtful ads in Video Games, EA. Leave them be.
I think the only type of games that can gets away with it would be sport games, having those sponsors ads on the side like on real life.
But don't put freaking Doritos ads in Star Wars or something, it breaks the immersion. If it is a pop-up ads, then big no.
EA senior staff has been investigated for sexual misconduct involving female coworkers, and these said people have been named publicly.
Aye just call Phil, i mean he somehow made Bobby Kotick's scandal disappear and gave him a few million dollar high five on the way out.
EA about to go down like Activision and then Phil saves the day saying.this is good for the industry and consolidation will help create competition. /s.
What's up with all these horny creeps. You gon be horny, fine. Just not at work take care of that shit before you go in. Rub one out if you have to. Don't be a creep at all. ESPECIALLY at work. But don't be one AT ALL.
"it seems that according to EA, given the events transpired outside of work between two adults, and the fact that once investigation has started that the alleged perpetrators didn’t do it again, the investigation is considered closed. [...] The victim still has to work with the people that harassed her."
Yep, EA is disgusting.
Game developers have already started to confirm that they will support the Nintendo Switch 2 with their future titles.
The disappointment I feel with Saints Row makes me sad every day. I hang on to the last hope with Saints Row 4 following what Saints Row 2 made but know with the whole "Enter the Dominatrix" thing it won’t be what the true fans want. Guess I will be relying on GTA V to get my gangster fix.
No Activision?
With advances in technology come different costs, processes, etc. It seems that every gaming company has to struggle or make hard decisions regarding pricing and customer-base. I guess it just depends which way they go. Some definitely did better than others this year.
?
The Wii wasnt a great console but it seems like the author focused his attention from a lot of really great games. Like he mentions NSMWii but doesnt mention Galaxy? It's just a little off and comes off as butthurt.
