Nice, more than one face type :P
Like metro 2033, theres kinda one complaint, thats not that big of a deal when your not staring at walls or whatever, but some of the textures are very... sub par.

I don't remember having any texture issues on pc.

Metro 2033 had terrible texture streaming on PC, like if you went outside and stared at the ground you could watch it slowly load in textures(like 30 seconds to get to Highest res LOD), look up then back down and it would start all over again. And there were a few props that were Kinda pixely, (like counters and boxes), But a majority of the game was done really well.

As much as I like the way the game sounds and looks (on its own), I am a little disappointed in the design change (especially the more we see of it). Its a little too 'clean' and colorful compared to original's darker, grimier/grittier look that suited the game and setting perfectly.

I still can't wait for Last Light and from the videos they're doing pretty well with trying to stick with the original setting but not sure if the art design change will be a bit of a downer for me in the long run. I don't think it'll be a deal breaker by any means, just a small issue when compared to the original. Still... I may miss the grit that made Metro so immersive on top of everything else.

I know what you mean.

The dark and gritty visual effects in the environment made the atmosphere and immersion of Metro 2033 amazing.

I don't doubt this will be an amazing game, but i agree with you that it may grate on me a little.

Metro Video Game Series: A Comprehensive History

The Metro video game series started with a humble b-list title, before building a strong fanbase and becoming a pioneer in the industry.

Never got into Exodus, but 2033 was excellent.

Yeah, Exodus just didn't grab me either, sadly.

I absolutely loved 2033 and Last Light, however. Played them both on 360 and then again with the remasters!

I just started it and it is already miles better than the first 2 which are dated.
