The Top 7... Games in which you fight Santa Claus

David Houghton:

Santa Claus. Father Christmas. Kris Kringle. St. Nick. He's the most benevolent man in the history of the entire existance of the world. The human embodiment of the generosity, joy and Olympic-standard eating that Chrstmas is all about. Truly, he is the best of all of us. So why on earth would you want to fight him? As non-instinctive actions go, it's right up there with sending kittens to war.

But video games make us do it more than you might expect. In fact there are plenty of games that take in, or even culminate in, a violent throwdown with the best person ever. Sometimes these games try to come up with a good reason for it. Sometimes, of course, the jolly bearded man you battle isn't the real Santa at all. And in one case it turns out that fighting Santa is possibly the best thing you'll ever do. You're intrigued, aren't you? So click onward and find out what we're on about.

I'm still waiting for a proper Final Fantasy game that looks exactly like Yoshitaka Amano's art. Dissidia proved how ridiculously amazing that would look like but it was still not close enough. They need to go for broke on Amano's art style and design.

I don't care if it's a remake of 5 or 6 or a new entry, just make it happen at some point in this life time SquareEnix...

Graphically it looks quite nice. And I believe this is the first time they're using a new engine rather than a previous one.

Gunplay always felt really good with the KF games. My only complaint with this game and similar ones like L4D is that they become too predictable after a bit, so it gets quite boring. If the game doesn't have AI learning then at least give the enemies more methods of attacking players.

VS mode didn't work in KF2 because the game and enemies weren't designed for it from the start, that's what happens when it's tacked on and also takes place in an arena, it just becomes a camping game. Game mode wise I would prefer regular survival mode and one or two others, like a coop campaign and something else, but if they add VS it's gotta be done right from the beginning.
