GameZebo: Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller follows the adventures of FBI agent Erica Reed, who possesses supernatural powers that allow her to witness past events, pull "memories" out of inanimate objects and even bring out long-forgotten memories in the minds of others. It's an intriguing idea but it's also a mess, brought low by clunky technology and writing and game mechanics that are completely out of place in such a dark, serious game.
Cognition is a fantastic thrill ride, The Night of the Rabbit is a beautiful but directionless adventure title, and Super Splatters is casual fun!
We're also giving away two of these titles to people that like, subscribe, and post a comment on this video. The games up for grabs are The Night of the Rabbit and Cognition!
DToid:FBI agent Erica Reed has had a rough few years. A savage serial killer with a penchant for rituals and puzzles terrorized Boston three years ago. His targets were always twins -- twins like Erica and her brother. Cognition opens with a flashback to a desperate Erica, searching for her brother and his captor in a deserted graveyard.
Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller was a game that left us with with as many questions as it did answers. Thankfully, we had the opportunity to speak with Katie Hallahan of Phoenix Online Studios about the game and their studio!
