Beautiful Platformer 'Pid' Is Beaming Onto Switch on November 18

"Long ago, the studio that developed the incredible Bionic Commando: Rearmed broke up. Some of the remaining staff formed Might & Delight, which would go on to release games like Book of Travels and the Shelter series. Might & Delight's first game, though, was an ultra-hard platformer called Pid. Ten years later, Pid is about to find a new life on Nintendo Switch. On November 18, a whole new generation will get to face the game's beauty, challenge, and 2-player local co-op," says Co-Optimus.

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "Despite its somewhat anaemic lineup of backwards-compatible titles (unusual in light of the genre’s strong pedigree on Sony consoles), Vita’s selection of rhythm games is highly impressive in the modern market with genre favourites like DJMax, Hatsune Miku and Taiko no Tatsujin all present and plenty of quirky oddities like Deemo, Love Live & Persona thrown in for good measure. You’re definitely going to need to try your hand at importing to get the most of the genre here, but that shouldn’t be an issue thanks to region-free hardware and easy-to-grasp gameplay."

The Beautiful, Strange World Of Pid - Review | Girls on Games

As a huge lover of Little Big Planet, the author became fond of Pid. The whole game reminds her of LBP. Like the aforementioned game, Pid is a very puzzling side scroller game, where you jump from different platform levels, collect currency, and hidden collectibles throughout your journeys.
