GR: As much as I'd like to brag, I've never been very good at pinball. The machines in the pizza joint down the street from my house took quite a few quarters, but never offered the enjoyment I got from games like Microsoft's Space Cadet pinball.
With Zen Pinball 2, Zen Studios is hoping to bring that same whimsical approach to pinball to the Wii U (as they have on both PS3 and PlayStation Vita). Much of the game remains unchanged, but getting a chance to go hands on with many of the boards available at launch on Wii U gave me that Windows 98 feeling all over again.
"To coincide with the home video release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, Zen Studios added three more tables to its Star Wars pinball series." - Tyler Hall from Video Chums
The collection of pinball tables featured in Zen Pinball 2 (AKA Pinball FX 2) is quite impressive. Zen Studios are masters at crafting thrilling pinball experiences but does their new Star Wars: Rogue One table live up to their reputation?
Like many of their virtual pinball tables, the Star Wars Rogue One Pinball table captures the feel of the film...for better or worse.
I love Space Cadet pinball, but do people really care about this anymore?
Zen Pinball is so good. Probably one of those games that won't benefit too much from being on the Wii U at this point. The only customers likely inclined to shop online on a Nintendo console quite likely already have Zen Pinball for PS3 Vita, or 360.
I love it on my Vita but not on a fan on the console. It's great on a handheld though.
