Man I wish they released these again HD style. Never did finish them. Didn't like the control but the atmosphere was so creepy.

The original Fatal Frame still hasnt been touched as the scariest game ever made.

I would love Sony to make an HD collection. If Nintendo was smart they would make a complete collection for the Wii-U. Especially considering the fact that the Wii got the last one and that it was never localized outside of Japan.

I would do an HD international version and make it an exclusive.

In fact a Wii-U game using the second screen as the camera would be a must buy for me. I'd buy the console for it.

I would love a new game by the original creators.

While Fatal Frame was damned frightening, I feel like Silent Hill 2 holds the title of "scariest game ever made".
I think I learned the phrase "psychological horror" playing that game.

No, Fatal Frame should be traditional horror, not like Spirit Camera. The point of Fatal Frame is an atmosphere, not gameplay. The second screen only hurt the conception of Fatal Frame.

The Wii remakes pretty good, though the English dub kinda ruins the atmosphere tbh, and this is coming from a Brit.

Fatal Frame 2 is still one of the best horror titles out there. I hope Sony acquired this IP instead of Nintendo. Maybe then we would've gotten western release for Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.

I think Capcom owns the IP, so there is no hope. I think they only released that new FF game in Japan on the Wii because they thought that the western world wouldn't accept it, and that the Wii would be the only console people would buy it on.

well, it's up to Nintendo now, they have the publishing rights to the series, unless KOTEC can do a Ninja Gaiden Sigma-type port for other consoles...
