The Walking Dead Episode 5: No Time Left Review | Pixels for Breakfast

Pixels for Breakfast writes: Telltale Games has always been teetering on the very edge of mainstream success; since their formation in 2004, the adventure game studio has nailed episodic down, proven that licensed franchises don’t have to be the scum of the gaming world, and have revived a dying genre for the edge of oblivion. Despite amassing a huge number of devoted fans over the past eight years, they have always managed to be respected but never quite up to the standards of “core” gamers. Just finished it. AMAZING GAME! Haven't cried during a game in many years, but a few tears slipped out, it's just that emotional. Definitely one of the best games to come out in a long long time, and proves why story is so important for a game, it's well worth it when done right.

Couldn't agree more - this is definitely GOTY for me. Utterly amazing experience from start to finish. I'm excited to replay the entire series in one sitting now.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 Episode 5 "No Going Back" Review | MMGN

Telltale Games have pulled out all the stops in No Going Back, with moments so powerful, so moving, that it will leave you with an emotional hangover afterwards. I wouldn't say it was as shocking as Season 1, but it was definitely worth playing for the powerful experience alone. It will manipulate your feelings and break your heart - a ride worth going on.
