Gamesradar- What if someone made a great game and nobody played it? It’s an unfortunate fact of life that worthwhile games are constantly being overlooked on every console, but as we reach the end of the Wii’s lifespan it’s shocking how many interesting titles got ignored on the system.
Sometimes you could blame it on a lack of marketing, an unfamiliar brand name, or even a couple of design mistakes in an otherwise inviting game. After noticing the unfortunate number of Wii games that were met with ambivalence and poor sales, we’ve found the 12 greatest releases that failed to make our definitive list of best Wii games. And if you’d still like to give any of these games a shot, we’ve researched the cheapest price you can find them for today.
Beneath all the Smash and shovelware, the Wii really did have quite a few gems.
Not a bad list.. I would add Excitebots, Kororinpa 1 & 2, Bit.Trip series, Geometry Wars: galaxies
Alex DS from Link Cable Gaming writes: "The Wii U is a great place to build up a collection of classic video games. And with Nintendo beginning to phase out the online services for this system we figured it was as good a time as any to go over the games that are must-haves from the Wii U Virtual Console!"
Half-Glass Gaming: "In playing the classic Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, though, I noticed that Wario sort of lost his edge over the years. Don’t believe me? Let’s take a quick trip back in time, shall we?"
i liked wario land.. It just sucked that it wasnt widescreen... I hope they go back to its roots with like the virtual boy & original gameboy versions
