Hungry Giraffe was originally launched as a PlayStation mini to critical acclaim including a 10/10 review from Official PlayStation Magazine (UK) who called it“…as cute as a puppy with an inside-out ear and so addictive .” Hungry Giraffe has since received well over 100,000 downloads on PSN and now Laughing Jackal have introduced lots of new features including new powerups, achievements, an online leaderboard and touchscreen controls.
Flame Over breathes life into a very unique genre that forces you to accept death as another gameplay mechanic. Battling a deadly fire and rescuing its potential victims is strangely addictive.
Flame Over is just as good as it was on the PS Vita and looks eye-blisteringly fantastic on the big screen.
10/10 isn't necessarily perfect. By our standard at PS Nation a 10 is: Outstanding As close to perfection as possible.
While some might not agree with the score I'm sure few can argue at the quality and fun you get with this game. If you do get the game then please let me know what you think of it.
I played the PS vita version extensively and the game is an 8 at best - more like a 7.5. The problem is that the game gets incredibly difficult after a few levels. If you like difficult games, then buy all means try it.
