"Hoping to stir up interest, this past Thursday, the European PSN store received an exclusive gift in the form of an English demo of Everybody's Golf 5. A significant time has passed and the PlayStation 3 is not as content starved as it was 8 months ago. Standards have changed and Everybody's Golf 5 would have to be really impressive to squeeze out $59.99 CAD from me. Does it? Not quite and here's why."

They're quite awesome, too. Sony's stable of exclusives have significantly improved over the past generation, offering content that you cannot find anywhere else but PlayStation. This top ten list features what I consider to be the ten best Sony franchises. From Kratos to Nathan Drake, Jak and Daxter to Ratchet & Clank, and Wipeout to Gran Turismo, PlayStation fans have been spoiled rotten by these franchises."
where the heck is infamous,it deserves a spot on that list, though it is a top 10,id probably swipe infamous in for hot shots golf, only because hot shots isnt my type of game.
If this were my list, Yakuza and Infamous would without question be at the top of the list.
Where the heck is Infamous? Also add the recently Gravity rush to the list too. It should belong to sonys exclusive powerhouses

Continuing our tradition of offering a great PSN sale to start the year off right, we’re back in 2013 with the “13 for ‘13” sale on PlayStation Network. Starting tomorrow, January 22nd, and running through January 28th, we’re bringing you 13 great PS3 games at 50% off their regular price, and PlayStation Plus members can save even more with 75% off each title. Additionally, we’re upping the ante this year by bringing you 13 of the hottest, most critically acclaimed films of the previous year at great prices!
Will be picking up LBPK for 10 dollars. This might be the closest PS3 users will get to a steam sale on PSN.
A step in the right direction, Sony.
@Nitrowolf2, I have the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank collections on Disc, but if I didn't that would be a great way to get into those games.
Unfinished Swan was on sale during the Holiday Essentials sale and I missed it, so this time I don't plan on doing that again.
Those are actually some really great PS Plus discounts, especially for the likes of LBP Karting and Unfinished Swan
What is that I read on the title? Games and MOVIES? can someone check up on that? is this true? or just a bad title..
To hear some people talk you’d think sport starts and ends with football. Obviously that’s not the case so here are 8 of the best non-footy athletic activities. From face kicking to golf. Yes, golf.
this is gunna be more playable than tiger
I'm actually looking forward to this game. I love it on the PSP and I played the other ones a lot on the PS2. It should be a game that's easy to pick up and play when you want to get a quick game in. I've always liked this better than the Tiger Woods series.
Looking forward to this game. Kind of disappointed theirs no voice chat though. I was hoping to talk with friends, while golfing.
I must admit, this is probably one of my most anticipated games for the ps3, for the following reasons.
1.) Fun ~ As everyone already knows, hot shots golf is easy to play and just fun for the whole family.
2.) Realism. Some may disagree with me hear, but I will always argue that Hot Shots golf is more realistic than Tiger Woods. Now obviously, Tiger LOOKS more like real golf, but hot shots plays more like real golf. You can't put spin while the ball is in the air, and it is much more difficult to shoot like -20 under par which happens in tiger way to often. As an avid golfer in real life, playing a round of Hot Shots golf makes you make decisions that much closer replicate the real thing than Tiger Woods.
3.) Drinking Game. My roommates and I play a drinking game with this game that pretty much has become legendary with my group of friends. It works as follows, anywhere from 3-8 people can play (if 8, you just have two people alternate shots with a particular character) and you play a standard, stroke play match with 18 holes. However, every beer you drink, counts as 1 stroke off your score. So if one team/player finishes 8 under par with 8 beers, that puts him at 16 under. If another guy finishes 7 under par with 10 beers, that puts him at 17 under and the winner of the match. Its a blast!
March 18th can't come soon enough.
I don't agree with most of this preview. He's playing a demo, not the complete version. Graphics will probably be a little better. The gameplay is suppose to be simple and rustic, the game shines in the depth of the content. You get addicted trying to unlock everything. The new swing mechanism should be fun for new and old players. Of course, it'll be nice if this was both a PSN and regular disc game and selling for only 39.99 but that's only wishful thinking. Again, I can't wait for this.
