With the exception of a few fetch-quest puzzle issues that might annoy some folks, Night of the Raving Dead will entertain and satisfy newcomers to and veterans of the series. This short, tightly packed episode offers just the right mix of puzzles, character development, and perfectly lame-brained zombies, and the price is just right ($8.95).
Pros: A cool Paper Boy minigame debuts; great character parts by Jurgen, Sybil, and the comical Hans Moleman; a clever shape-changing puzzle similar to that in Moai Better Blues keeps you on your toes.
Cons: The end puzzle is illogical and daunting; fewer minigames than normal; Boscoe and Timmy Two-Teeth are nowhere to be found.
David Houghton:
Santa Claus. Father Christmas. Kris Kringle. St. Nick. He's the most benevolent man in the history of the entire existance of the world. The human embodiment of the generosity, joy and Olympic-standard eating that Chrstmas is all about. Truly, he is the best of all of us. So why on earth would you want to fight him? As non-instinctive actions go, it's right up there with sending kittens to war.
But video games make us do it more than you might expect. In fact there are plenty of games that take in, or even culminate in, a violent throwdown with the best person ever. Sometimes these games try to come up with a good reason for it. Sometimes, of course, the jolly bearded man you battle isn't the real Santa at all. And in one case it turns out that fighting Santa is possibly the best thing you'll ever do. You're intrigued, aren't you? So click onward and find out what we're on about.
Those of you who watch the credits on Sam & Max episodes will be familiar with the name of Joey Camen. The talented voice actor can be recognised in the games as the voice of Bosco and the Two-Teeth family, and has lent his voice to many different games and shows throughout the years.
Joey was kind enough to offer up his time to answer some questions in an exclusive interview for samandmax.co.uk

Even better, the releases begin today (February 11, 2010) with Tales of Monkey Island."
