Brash Games writes "Having already produced one of the strongest pinball games on the 3DS and also one of the strongest download games in general, Zen Studios take their established formula and game engine from Zen Pinball 3D, give it a lick of paint from the comic book company Marvel and re-package it for the 3DS. But is it a hero or a villain of a game".

Following the official launch of the Virtual Console platform on Wii U last week, Nintendo are pushing the retro content on Nintendo 3DS with a ‘Download Play Special’ this week. Selected Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console videogames that incorporate Download Play functionality, which enables those owning these selected titles to play two-player with a friend, without that friend having to download the videogame as well.
Details of this week's European update have arrived, and they're perhaps not the fireworks we'd hope for at this time of year. There's still some variety across all platforms and a long awaited app arrives, though the price may surprise some.
