VGChartz - Hardware sales have increased across the board week-on-week, except for the PSP which is down. Overall week on week hardware sales are up 20 percent. The 3DS continues to be the only platform up year on year, up six percent. Overall hardware sales are down 24 percent year on year.
Six games debuted in the top 30 this week. Farming Simulator 2013 (PC) is this week’s top debut, debuting at number one with sales of 405,634. Software milestones this week in the top 30: Pokémon Black / White Version 2 (DS) passed the five million mark; FIFA 13 (PS3) passed the four million mark; and Kinect Adventures! (X360) passed 17 million sold.
Farming Simulator debuted on consoles 10 years ago today, and with it kickstarted a trend of bringing real life simulators beyond the PC.
