VIA TXB- Over the last couple of days, there has been a rumor that claims BioWare may be working on a new Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic title. The rumor originated with a misinterpretation of a presentation slide from a EA's analyst report. An EA PR representative told us:
"The slide in John's presentation is titled "Best Creative Talent" -- it addresses future and past titles. KOTOR, Black, Boogie, Skate and some other titles on the slide speak to past portfolio releases and the pedigree of the studio but do not specifically address future sequels. The MMO in development at Bioware Austin is listed a "New MMO". We apologize for any confusion this may have caused."
Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.
From base building to swinging willies, here are the best survival games around, which include a couple of less than obvious picks.
It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.
Many 360 fans were looking forward to this, hopefully with the interest that was obviously generated with the mistaken slide it will push them to revisit the KOTOR series for all the fans to enjoy.
that gun looks like it should have been the xbox 360 controller
Bummer, KOTOR is one of my all time favorite games and that would be cool if they did come out with another one. Oh well for now.
If you liked KOTOR...you should try playing MassEffect. They are similiar and MassEffect kicked ass. Great storyline, graphics and an all around fun game.
Maybe someday they'll come out with another Knights..but I guess all we can do is wait..as usual.
A KoToR game could still be on the way. They just say that it is not the new MMO in the works. They didn't say a new KoToR wasn't possible.
