The third in a set of mysterious Sony videos. This one is called "The Aftermath". The videos are most likely hyping the release of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Can anyone make out what that last item on the floor is (the furthest one from the cake / ice cream / bullets) looks like a sackboy of coles infamous bag or something, its right there in the middle and is focused on at around 0:10 - 0:11, plus that poster right when the woman turns the corner into the red room seems to be a helghast poster, propaganda or something maybe.

How messed up would it be if these trailers lead up to the announcement of the boss in the game. I would like find out who the boss is by playing through the game and not by a trailer or an article before the release of the game.

These three YouTube videos have sparked major flames and I really want to know more and see more.

But what would the point be in building excitement if it ends up being just an extra character in PSASBR? And if it's just a new add campaign, that will be seen as disappointing too. I really hope there's more to it than that because, if not, I'd put this down as a misstep, especially when the press are eager to find anything they can to discredit Sony.

Sony is just doing it's job... gamers are to blame for hyping it as hell. :)

Well don't forget that Michael had a lot of hype around it for being related to Home, All Stars (then unannounced), or something we knew nothing about. It ultimately turned out to be a fairly disappointing ad that only hinted at All Stars, though really failed in both respects.

What will most likely happen is that this video will either reveal something (too many signs point to the roster being finalize and this won't reveal DLC) or as I suspect, the official All Stars Commercial that will play on TV to hype up the game.

You make it sound like every commercial/advert has to be an announcement or something huge in order for it to be useful.

I haven't got a clue how you work that out. I never said it has to be something 'HUGE'. It just has to be more than what I said. I see no point in building excitement for something that people already know. That can only lead to disappointment.

It needs to be something we DON'T know. That's what I'm getting at, not some HUGE announcement. I'm saying it's most likely NOT as simple as people believe it is because 'that would be disappointing' (after everyone has hyped it so much)

It is obviously going to end in a Micheal like commercial.I am certain the final video will be a lot of characters hanging around sizing each other up. That Micheal commercial brought in millions of views and it would be a perfect way to hype up PASBR to have another commercial like it. Everyone is already glued to the video's searching for clues and recognizing the symbols and hints about the characters. They are doing exactly what they need to do. Hype the game and show how much people know about the characters. I mean people are translating Lombax and recognizing Persecutor symbols,know that Saru Get You references Ape Escaspe and recognized Sweet Tooth's machete on sight. For a bunch of characters people claim no one knows about people seem to recognize things pretty quickly.
