'Late To The Party Review' - Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast - Twinfinite

In 2012, it feels pretty safe to say that Star Wars as a concept is pretty much drained on a creative level. Sure, the new Star Wars 1313 project looks promising and there are people who are holding out that The Old Republic is a fine MMO, but the increasingly diminishing returns of quality over the past decade or so has seriously diluted its brand. It’s hard to believe there was once a time when a Star Wars game was an event, and that more often than not it delivered. Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast is one of those games.

me too. One reason being JA allowed for more diversity in the MP gameplay, but Outcast was still amazing. Story in Outcast was 1000 times better than JA.

Loved throwing stormtroopers and sith with force grip from cliffs, cheap kills but fun.

Grip Aim up let go and push them. Sometimes I did this straight up in the air. It was funny for them to land at my feet.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast is coming to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo announced an impressive number of surprises during today’s Nintendo Direct event, but one of the most unexpected was a Nintendo Switch re-release of Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Or at least the single-player portion of the game.

The game will be released on Sept. 24, and there’s not much else to add outside of the fact that this is one of the best Star Wars action games ever created, and it’s certainly not a title you’d expect to randomly get a new life on Switch.

Jedi Outcast lets you play with a variety of guns from the Star Wars canon, but the real star of the show is the lightsaber combat and force powers, which give an impressive feeling of power and versatility for a game originally released in 2002. It’s a shame none of the multiplayer modes will be included in this version of the game, but even the single-player campaign is worth revisiting if you haven’t played in a while, or want to experience for th

The first one is. I bought it on there about a year ago. They never added the sequel though.
