Assassin's Creed III - Desmond - Previously On

Ubisoft has uploaded a new video of Assassin’s Creed 3 ahead of the game’s release next month. The new video, titled “Desmond”, focuses on the game’s protagonist Desmond Miles and his role throughout the Assassin’s Creed series.

The daily trailer update for this games sucks ... who can still looking forward to the game by this over-markting?

TekoIie4247d ago

You know you can just not watch it? Thats what I'm doing despite commenting in this article X3

MostJadedGamer4247d ago (Edited 4247d ago )

I didnt bother reading the article, but I totally agree. Big games like AC3 are absolutely flooded with tons of previews, info, videos, and spoilers.

While on the other hand small games like History Legends of War: Patton.

There needs to be a balance. AC3 has been oversaturated to death by gaming sites. Somebody need to preview small games like History Legends of War: Patton which is hasn't been preview at all.

Gaming sites should be smart enough to realise that AC3 has been previewed 100's time so lets preview a game like History Legends of War: Patton which nobody has previewed.

It's funny. I've seen Almost every video, I Pre- Ordered in March, and I still know pretty much nothing about the REAL story, besides that it's in the American Revolution. I'd say Ubisoft did a good job at not spoiling the game, unlike some devs... (Uncharted 3, loved it, but I knew too much going in.)

Nimblest-Assassin4247d ago (Edited 4247d ago )

Remember when this game was announced? Ubi said this would be there most aggressive marketing campaign ever

And yeah... Also the game is 30+ hours and there are so many improvements, you think people wont buy a game because it has to many trailers? No, they hype people for the game

And besides
Wednesday was a mp trailer detailing the modes
Yesterday were the commercials that will air on tv
And today is a recap of the story

Hell, they haven't shown much of the story anyways , this wont ruin anyone's anticipation of the game

@above

Are you serious? Journalists write and preview about games that they have played. They are not going to stop writing an article because other people already have. It's something called NEWS! If ubi posts info about ac3, the press convey it to the readers

If your so upset that there is no news about history legends... Blame the people who made it because they aren't giving any information about their game. What do you want? Journalists to make stuff up, further reducing the legitimacy of video game journalism?

And be honest what's going to get more attention. History legends, or AC3?

Ac3

Yeah they mostly just put out trailers so that you can see the improvements they made. I know close to nothing about the story, other than the fact that Connor's village is razed and he has a mentor.

Walker4247d ago

This game is better than S3X .
GOTY .

Lord_Sloth4247d ago

Why do people claim GotY before ever even playing a game?! It just makes you sound like a fanboy.

Walker4247d ago

No need to play, everything about this game is huge .

Irishguy954247d ago

Too Bad Halo 4 is out this year...

Haha no. It's too bad Cod is coming out this year with a new coat of paint :(

Thank god I don't have to choose between Halo 4 and AC3, or any other "GotY"'s coming out this year

MostJadedGamer4247d ago

Sadly if people have read all the previews, and watched all the videos for the last 6 months they basically already have played AC3.

So people can actually claim AC3 is GOTY since they have basically already played it.

I have kept myself to a bare minimum of previews, and videos. Other people with far less discipline then me have basically already played the game.

Games with the dumbest NPCs

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK312d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem311d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder311d ago (Edited 311d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188311d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

RPGer311d ago

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

Popsicle586d ago (Edited 586d ago )

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
