Charlie is MIA this week, so Matt and Steve make a break for it only to end up at the local dive bar for Taco Tuesday! They didn't seem to keen on letting us record a podcast though. Back to 25 Cent Play HQ we went. It’s a much shorter show this week focusing mostly on XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Dishonored since that’s mostly what we played this week. As if we’d play anything else, besides maybe League of Legends that is. Somehow we manage to hold it together and make it through without Charlie. Next week we’ll be back at full strength.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown rebooted the series back in 2012, and has since inspired numerous new strategy game series to be born.
If someone gets into this I'd recommend getting the enemy within version. It's got all the dlc included so it's the better version. Wish the author would've atleast mentioned it. I didn't see it.
Fantastic game though. Xcom 2 is top notch also. I've spent countless hours in these games.
It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.
There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.
Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.
Dishonored's engaging lore, creative levels, and timeless gameplay are well worth revisiting for fans of the immersive sim and stealth genre.
