DHGF: n the world of movie tie-in games, you can do far, FAR worse than Hotel Transylvania. While the story is all but nonexistent and the controls are sometimes spotty, it’s still an oddly charming and fun platformer. There are shades of Symphony of the Night to be had here, albeit pared down to bare bones and aimed at a very young audience. If you’re a fan of the movie, platformers in general, or are in need of a new DS title as the system dries up permanently, it might be worth your time to consider this one.
At the very end of January, Outright Games announced a new title based on Hotel Transylvania. The company has now followed up with first details and screenshots.
Neil writes: "Hotel Transylvania 3 is due to hit the big screens this summer and today Outright Games have announced a partnership with Sony Pictures Animation which sees them creating a game based on the films."
I love Hotel Transylvania. Both movies. Can't wait for the 3rd one. This will be a fun little game to play with my daughter.
The big name release on the Nintendo eShop this week is the long awaited Wii Fit U. Set for release tomorrow, Wii Fit U is delivered in a digital package not too dissimilar to the Xbox 360 Kinect’s Nike+ Trainer. Beginning tomorrow Wii U owners will be able to download a free thirty one day trial of Wii Fit U, but that’s not all that’s coming this week.
Yes, Super Castlevania is a classic that I missed out on. Looks like Nintendo is getting more of my money. These classic games on the gamepad are awesome!!! Nintendo needs to make a VC bundle. Just to let people know about all the great Nintendo classic on the Wii U. All though they do need a lot more of them to be released. The bundle should include Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man II, Castlevania II.
