Dishonored: The Kotaku Review

Kotaku: "Where most games have strict rules and guidelines, Dishonored has suggestions. Suggestions that it encourages you to mess around with at every turn. Blending the do-what-you-want structure of Deus Ex with the masterful world design of BioShock, this game is really something special."

"During the 15 to 20 hours it takes to beat Dishonored" How many articles forgot to mention this. I needed this info.

Yeah man, sick of these games that are only 4 hours. $60 for 4 hour game -_-

A few guy finishing that way means nothing , most people arent anywhere that driven and possibly skills . And some luck can be involved too .

Just like you read all the time that it takes 15-20 hours to finish assassin creed , yet the average player can usually only do it in 30-40

Honestly 20 hours is good for me, usually when a game takes 30-40 hours to complete it means at some point, I'll be bored out of my mind. 30-40 hours of gameplay is fine, but 30-40s to complete makes me a little wary.

It felt kinda cheap to me… both in terms as a tactic, and game design

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
