The Black Panel writes: Most Wanted has been compared to another Criterion game, Burnout Paradise, by many people so I asked Loombe what made this a Need for Speed game as opposed to a Burnout game. “Obviously it’s got the racing and the open world and that is just in Criterion’s DNA to make an open world game with the racing, chasing and exploring. Every game we make is a reflection of who we are at the time. Burnout was Burnout, Hot Pursuit was Hot Pursuit and now Most Wanted is its own beast. It brings all of the best things from each game we have made and I think both fans of Burnout and Need for Speed are going to love it and that’s the most important thing for us” said Loombe.
Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson stated in a recent EA Earnings Call, that the next Battlefield "it is going to be another tremendous live service.”
Another? ANOTHER?
Is he honestly trying to make out like the last Battlefield was a huge success, not just as a game but as a live service game? I'm sure these guys live in their own echo chambers, they are so far removed from reality or they just like talking out of their arse trying to rewrite history.
Also why say such a tone deaf statement when you know the state of live service games at the minute and how many gamers feel about them. Bigging up the next BF game as live service does not give me any excitement or hype.
After nearly three decades of NFS games, here's a list of the best Need For Speed titles that have ever been released in the past years, ranked by The Nerd Stash.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted debuted in 2005, with the Xbox 360 version being the first then next-generation title in the franchise.
This game was awesome! I remember reloading my save if I didn’t get the pink slip from my blacklist rival
I want a Burnout game. I want a crash mode. I don't want open world races and hubs. I want multiple routes like takedown. I want the big windy roads so I can drift for miles between cars.
EA, stop screwing up Criterion and let them make a proper Burnout before this gen ends (for ps3 and 360).
Every game we make is a reflection of who we are at the time. Burnout was Burnout, Hot Pursuit was Hot Pursuit
BULLSHIT, HOTPURSUIT was Burnout all the way slapped on title made it NFS but in reality it was pure Burnout so will MOSTWANTED be Burnout. long as criterion games making my favorite racer im out.......
EA PLEASE!!!! give NFS to another developer before it lose its last ounce of identity.
we dont want a mixture of Burnout in NFS an sure as hell dont want a mixture of NFS in Burnout PARADISE 2 if it ever is released.
