This is What Assassin’s Creed III’s Connor Used to Look Like

Kotaku - Here's what Assassin's Creed III's Connor looks like in the near-finished product. He's got flowing elements to his outfit, and a nice touch of blue. It is, considering the constraints of the military dress of the time, a pretty sharp outfit.

In this gallery, though, you'll see some shots of what he looked like back in 2010, when pre-production for the game was in full-swing. Where there's now blue there was once re

personally i liked this design better.

Lucretia4242d ago

same, it looks far far better imo

Autodidactdystopia4242d ago

i hink those are actual picture of the actor playing vaas in full garb. but since the name has cry in it i was reluctant to say that had to look twice.

@Grap

i know it looks awesome!

if you look closely though you can see its not real. bloody amazing though!

I like it aswell

This design has a blend of blue and red on it which most people would relate to both sides of the war, the red coats (red) and the americans (blue) and also his character, red relating to him being half British and blue because he was born in America.

The final design just shows Connor in mostly blue which makes him look one sided which goes against all of ubisofts statements about him not getting involved with the war or choosing a side to fight for

The old design showed an Assassin who looked like he was going after templars, similar to Altairs look, a blend of the Assassins past and what they stand for with a twist of his own design to suit the present time he's in, not him looking like he's leading one side to victory in the war around him.

Altair - the first thing that came to mind; the final design is more distinct.

The new Connor is more beefy, but while I like his new outfit more, I prefer this older version where his build was thinner and more agile. It feels like they tried too hard to hammer home the "MMA fighter" look with the new build.

Disco Downey4242d ago

Im never gonna be able to like this guy as a lead character as much as much as Altair or Ezio. bloody Connor. Theres gonna be a tonne of people spelling my name wrong from now on.

Old one is way better imo. Oh well.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK291d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder291d ago (Edited 291d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
