Push Square: "DUST 514 is easily the most ambitious title in the pipeline for the PlayStation 3. It takes the grandeur of MAG’s sandbox first-person battles, and merges them in real-time with the corporate politics of popular PC MMO EVE Online. After an impressive showing at the Eurogamer Expo in London last week, we felt it was an appropriate time for us to sit down with CCP Games’ Jon Lander and have a long chat about the challenges and inspirations behind the game. We emerged with the realisation that the Icelandic studio is utterly insane – but we mean that in the nicest possible way."
CCP Games has unveiled an ambitious roadmap for their sci-fi MMO EVE Online in 2024, headlined by the massive Equinox expansion set to launch on June 11th.
Alex from The Nerd Stash: "CCP Games' latest expansion for EVE Online, Havoc, is off to a flying start following its release earlier this month, the developer has confirmed."
Some thoughts from the developers on various aspects of the new EVE Online Havoc expansion and more.
The ambition of this game is why ps3 is the best console to have until ps4. It shows Sony is willing to take risks with all sorts of games. You would never see a game like this on Nintendos devices or Microsoft xbox 360 especially when they appeal to the casual crowd.
This game isn't my favourite game but I consider it to be one of the biggest shooter to be on a console. MAG I also consider to be one of the biggest shooter to be on a console and it must mean something that Sony has both these shooters to be exclusive to their consoles.I give a lot of respect to the developers of MAG, Dust 514 and Sony for these games that I have and will own because of the new experiences and gameplay.

Good to see the Ps3 still has some life left in it. I have a huge 'to-play list and it is as follows:
•SILENT HILL:Downpour
• Splinter cell/Ratchet &Clank/Jak & Daxter HD trilogies
• AC3
• Hitman: Absolution
• Far cry 3
And plenty more, that I'm sure of.
I played the Beta, and didn't enjoy it.
I found the controls felt rather clunky and the map was half empty.
Maybe these issues will be fixed up release, but for now, I'm not all the interested.
Dust looks interesting with it's interaction with Eve Online, but Planetside 2 (coincidentally developed by SOE) looks far more impressive especially in terms of scale.
"ps3's biggest shooter is and will remain COD."
If that's true that's despressing. And if you bought a PS3 to play COD you should be ashamed and run into oncoming traffic.
