Banpresto is making a video game based on the Sword Art Online anime series. While "online" is in the title, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment plays kind of like .hack since its a faux-MMORPG.
Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment has reportedly shipped over 200,000 units since its release.
Kotaku: "It is at this moment that the new PSP game, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment begins. At first, the events of the battle play out exactly the same as in the anime. And then, shockingly, the scene takes a drastic turn from the story we know."
The news and views on all things PlayStation, as seen from Japan.
Nice read. I didn't realize Famitsu's scores, if a game is released in japan first, skewed scores across the globe. Interesting.
Wow! I was LITERALLY just thinking about how great an actual SAO RPG would be... (If done right that is). Though I would have loved to see one on current gen stuff, like Vita/3DS, or even Xbox and PS3.
Both the books and the anime adaptation have been absolutely fantastic so far. Certainly one of the best series I've read/watched in quite some time.
This will be another hit video game considering there were other rpg games similar to SAO like Tales Series, God Eater and even Final Fantasy.
I've read some info about Sword Art Online Infinity Moment on this website : http://www.beatzgaming.com/...
