Wiiloveit.com: THE "DENPA" MEN: They Came By Wave - 3DS Download Review

"Upon hearing that we were in store for another AR-driven experience, a part of me resisted the idea; which part exactly, I'm not sure, but I guess there's some bitterness over past experiences I didn't even know existed. With all due respect to titles that have pulled this off, it was only after witnessing The Hidden's unsettling execution that I became extra cautious about how this functionality would be used in the future. Consequently, it was as if I was already put off by the very notion of another team using AR as a footstool towards something original." -- Wiiloveit.com

Author says: "To allow for lighting discomfort or just a plain insensitivity to the whole idea of this method of navigation, players who may be more reserved can actually keep this as a strictly virtual simulation by pressing the X Button, giving the space a patterned background that is uninfluenced by real-world images."

In actuality, this has nothing to whatsoever to do with what the author suggests. This is a Japanese game that was originally published for Japanese people. The Japanese hate to be photographed by strangers. The "manner mode" (it is even labelled as such in this game) was designed solely so the Japanese could search for Denpa Men without photographing strangers.

Interesting cultural and gaming issue...

I'm surprised Naruto games are still coming over, despite them no longer running new episodes for Ship. Currently, only Naruto is on tv, on toonami. It will take years to get to ship. Hopefully by then, XD's rights will have expired and toonami can snatch it up. Disney XD doesn't air Naruto Ship. anymore. I also hope Toonami doesn't show the filler hell either. I don't want 100 episodes of pure filler. The first filler arc would be ok to show (only 3 episodes IIRC), ties into Ship. with Sakura saying she wants to train with Tsunade, which oddly, she did.
