VGTODAY: "Codemasters has detailed the first patch for F1 2012 on their forums which is set to come to PC within the next few days as well as a second which is set to come to consoles at a later date after they’ve passed testing and authorisation from Sony and Microsoft, as well as appear on PC."
Steve from Gamespresso argues that it's time for Codemasters to stop releasing new F1 games annually, stating that they should either add new liveries and licences to existing games as DLC, or not release a game at all.

F1 2012 could be a really solid game but there are an awful lot of bugs again this year which is really disappointing from save game corruption to random engine blows to disconnects, not to mention chronic understeer at times when using a wheel.
until game developers release a finished game
patch for F1 2012 = F1 2013?
