Diehard GameFAN: La Pucelle Tactics Review

DHGF: La Pucelle Tactics is a solid tactical RPG that stands the test of time. Out of the shadow of Disgaea, one can truly appreciate how good this game is. With great tactical combat, plenty of customization, and tons of extra content to sink your teeth into, this is a steal at a mere ten dollars. If you haven’t played this game before, or remember it only as Disgaea‘s weaker predecessor, you should definitely give it a chance.

La Pucelle: Tactics Review (PSN) *Games Fiends*

La Pucelle is probably a good fit for those feeling nostalgic for the game or the hardcore tactic hounds, but nostalgia can sometimes be cruel mistress. Umm...it was awesome before. So a re-release isn't as good because its been done before? This guys logic is kinda retarded. Pitfall was amazing as a kid for me. You know what it is now? ..AMAZING! Wtf cares about people new to that have never played it before? Shouldn't have been sleeping the first time when it came out years ago.

Presspauseradio.com's Quarter Circle Forward Review: La Pucelle Tactics

"Japanese game developer Nippon Ichi is best known for its work with the tactical turn-based RPGs Disgea and Phantom Brave, but there’s another overlooked title that has been granted another chance to shine on within the downloadable PS2 collection available on PlayStation Network: La Pucelle Tactics.

Setting out to become the next Maiden of Light, Prier and the rest of La Pucelle go off to cleanse the world of demonic influence. And while the charming tropes of that familiar anime aesthetic add to the experience, there isn’t much else to take away from this variable crunching grid game."
