Nice. I like the new world and hope to have a go in it soon, old and new enemies alike

fourtwenty20094266d ago

Where's the map? that was just two worlds. LOL

DivineAssault 4266d ago (Edited 4266d ago )

It looks just like the others with hills & various NPC animations.. It being connected to the other worlds is the only difference i see...

Tyrone_Biggums4266d ago

Really? It looks unlike anything I've ever seen before. Crack is a helluva drug.

live2play4266d ago

thats the main thing people wanted

a big connected world map like super mario world

with differently themed worlds
as you can see here in the form of layer cake dessert

they also said an island covered by a tornado was gonna be part of the world

ninjabake4266d ago

Divine, I don't think you wouldda been satisfied no matter what they did to the game LOL but in all honesty...why come to Nintendo news knowing full well your just gonna complain about em?

DivineAssault 4266d ago (Edited 4266d ago )

OK so its "CONNECTED" to the other worlds.. like i said previously... Because nin, im looking for hope of new information, new anything.. U think i like critiquing them? Im shocked at what i see.. Mario 1, 2, 3, world, land, 64, galaxy ALL different in many ways.. This series is not evolving.. Why isnt there online multiplayer? That pisses me off.. I give this company my loyalty for a smack in the face? U know what? Ur very right, i refuse to look any further into anything about this system til i see a NEW game.. Peace n tranquility..

wiiume4265d ago

Online multiplayer has neither been confirmed or unconfirmed has it?I only remember them saying Pikmin 3 wont have it as it wasn't suited to the gameplay.

Damn, what a tease.. the more I see it the more I want it!

Goodbye New Mario, I Won't Miss You

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the first Mario 2D game in almost two decades without the New Super Mario art style, and it looks all the better for it

Am I missing something? It looks exactly the same, just higher resolution… Is this sarcasm?

specialguest338d ago

Yes, you're not observant if you think it looks exactly the same. It immediately appeared different to me from the start. Mario's 3D model will always be the same, so not much difference there. However, the animation they've given the Super Mario Wonder makes it look more like a CGI Mario animation where as the New Mario Bros game looks more like typical video game animation movements

__SteakDeck__338d ago

@specialguest Yeah those animations are insane.

FinalFantasyFanatic338d ago

You really didn't notice the difference? It's really obvious, I was surprised when I first saw the trailer.

Asplundh338d ago

"Am I missing something?"

Your glasses maybe?

Juancho51338d ago

This Mario game looks great, getting a switch for this and Mario RPG. CANT WAIT, TITS JACKED.

Profchaos338d ago

Yeah I liked how much more emotion could be conveyed through the new style at first glance I didn't see much difference but then rewatching the trailer I'm seeing more and more animations that remind me of the Mario artwork from the manual of smb3

Outlawzz338d ago

I hated the new super Mario bros Style. This new one seems a lot more expressive and less generic. I hope it's a good game

shinoff2183338d ago

I prefer the 2d Mario's. Me and my girl have played them all together and mario galaxy , Mario odyssey. The 2nd player option is extremely eh
