TGS: Rachet & Clank: FFA is not a return to form | Destructoid

I wish it could be a full fledged entry instead of this. It's more a cash cow then the traditional R&C entry. It seems more like a quick cash and grab living off of the name.

The game needs to evolve instead of devolve. It seems as if they are just getting what they can for now, until next gen gets here. This is a disappointment, as is "FUSE", at least at this time, this dev house is one of my favorites, and at this time I am just not excited for what they are doing. And before this and Fuse I have always been really excited for IG new games...

while i agree quest for booty was pretty good and like other RAC games only shorter. I think Insomniac will do a full game on ps4. I wouldn't be surprised if development has already started

RAC games sell well and this franchise has a big following

They said they wanted to do something with MP, I just wish they'd give us a PSN based UYA styled competitive MP. That was great

I am in the beta and I didn't like it at all. The controls are different, and it doesn't feel like Ratchet & Clank for some reason. It has something that makes it different, but can't point it out. It feels like empty or small, IDK. I played 2 days for 3 or 4 hours each, and decided to abandon it. (Sorry for the people that wanted in and I just wasted it)

I think Insomniac might be losing the plot a bit, as much as it pains me to say it.

The last 3 they did was, include FFA is:

FFA
Outernauts (Facebook game if you want to count it)
R&C: All 4 One
Resistance 3.

Arguably All 4 One is the failure.
R3 certainly isn't, though I feel they finished it and were done with it.

However I will say that I do wish they would do a full game. All 4 One, FFA, they just seem to be mini-R&C games and nothing like the Future trilogy or the original 3.

Huh, honestly I'm surprised to see anything critical of a game pre-release. Especially in the format of, well, a brief blog post. Maybe they think no one will notice it?

From what I played of it, it's a very fun game. However if this is to be a 60 dollar game then it already lost me.

Just bought and started playing the HD Collection today. I wish Ratchet would go back to its roots, the originals are so fun.

I know it's not a traditional R&C, but I think I'm gonna like it anyway. If it's good and fun I don't care if it progresses the plot or is like the main series. I just hope they do go back to what they were doing for the PS4. I want to find the lombaxes.
