Mech combat game MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is finally extending its reach and launching onto Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Good Old Games (GOG), and Steam on May 27, 2021. Its first DLC, 'Heroes of the Inner Sphere,' is launching at the same time.
I didn't even knew that there was a MechWarrior 5 until now. But more platforms is always good.

It’s not the first time a CD Projekt RED Twitter account caused controversy.
It sounds that CD used the #WontBeErased in support of sexual liberty in the face of a presidential administration gone crazy over genitals. This isn't the real issue though as GOG latched onto the tag to promote its site which seems a lot less noble even if the poster truly wanted to show GOG's support for the trans community. They deleted it so perhaps the saw how linking a sale to this campaign could have unintended reactions. Nothing to really see here.
There is an army of tumblrites following GoG waiting to smear them after they were successfully shamed into retracting a joke about assuming gander a few weeks back. This is likely tied to that.
I love how Kotaku is losing their sht every time. Tbh they poke fun at the # protest culture but all the same making a lot of people in the world aware of issues in the US they wouldn't be aware of otherwise.

I see Nothing crazy in being logical and making sense. There are men and there are women and some of them THINK they are the opposite.
Some of them identify personally with the opposite. They have free will. You want to impose your will without regard to what they want when it has nothing to do with you. They aren't hurting you. This situation isn't limited to wanting to control sexuality however... some people think they should control every aspect of your life from what you eat to what you can wear and they feel s moral obligation to force you inside of their 'logic'. Its a sickness to not be able to tell where your sphere of influence on someone's body should end.

People can identify with who and what they want, but the law should be based on proven facts, not subjective moods. Sure i can personally identify as t-rex, but i can't expect special treatment because i'm a member of an extinct species.

I wish GOG had the balls to stick to their guns and not retract their statement after getting heat from people who can't really do much to discourage their work.
