The trailer releases on the 30th at Eurogamer Expo in UK. I am so excited I am getting my favorite Game (I count this and Exoddus as one long adventure) in HD!

I have to say this looks smooth. This is what I wanted! No major changes otehr than smooth and amazing visuals. The original Oddworld games are some of the most beautiful games ever made and even rival titles like Uncharted in visual galore. I can't wait to see this in action. Oddworld is back baby!

I brought the Oddboxx on Steam last year. I recently got the HD remake of Stranger's Wrath as an automatic upgrade for free!

I wonder if I'll get this game for free too...

I hope they just make a damn new game from scratch....I mean, Abe's Odysee, Exodus, Munch's Odysee & Stranger Wrath ALL should have been HD'd up & put on a single disk for $40....That would impress me & make me spend the cash, but I have already bought Stranger Wrath on PS3, as well as Abe's Odysee from PSone classics range, so I am spend in this department. I am tired of all the HD remakes that are the new shovelware of this late stage of a consoles lifecycle.....as usually you start getting budget titles, from budget developers from usually 1 or 2 publishers dominating.... so I guess it's better to get classic, great games from a gen or 2 past all spiffy'd up, as opposed to getting just total crap.

I still implore that Just Add Water need to get out from the remake scene & develop a game from scratch, with there original ideas & spin. Mad Cats just released a game & it's pretty damn nice for a budget downloadable title, so Just Add Water should develop a BRAND NEW Abe game.

Does anyone know if Just Add Water has any of the guys that made up Oddworld Inhabants?

I am not sure in house... Oddworld inhabitants went deep into out-source mode quite sometime ago...

But there have been talks and concepts thrown around about the next new IP within the Oddworld universe...To what level I do not know at this time... Lorne Lanning needs to get the old gang back, and see what JAW can add to the group perhaps...

Last I heard....

Oddworld: Squeek's Oddysee (or simply known as, Squeek's Oddysee) is currently set to be the third Oddysee in the Oddworld Pentalogy. The games story will revolve around a character named, Squeek (the protagonist).

In the March 2012 edition of Dear Alf, it was hinted that a creature known as the Brain Slurg would make its debut in the game.

So perhaps the return is coming? I sure hope so, as a die hard fan to the series I cannot wait much longer, waiting for Media Molecules next IP and the Last guardian are tough enough LOL!

Has this been remade from the ground up or has it just been tidied up? It looks great from the screenshot shown in the link, but I downloaded the ps1 classic when it came free with PS+ and to be honest I struggled to play it due to how nasty it looked when scaled up to a big HD screen.

Can't wait for the remake all the same, the originals were 2 of my favourite ps1 games!
