Pakkuman’s Defense is, like so many games these days, a mashup of play-styles aimed at concocting an experience that smells of both ingredients, but tastes entirely different. Here, however, it isn’t two genres meeting in the middle, but rather one genre being stirred into the primordial soup of a specific game; a new strain of DNA being added to an old beast.
The Advent of Indies is a new site dedicated to the first 24 days of December, showcasing a new Indie developer each day until the 24th. Each developer will have two games featured; “Their most delicious bites of gingerbread free, sweetened with games prizes right next to them.” In other words, a free and a paid game, with a chance to win said paid game.
