Subway Surfers is a new face in the endless running game genre. Caught tagging a parked train the main character, Jake, takes off down the train yard. He is chased by an overweight security guard and his french bulldog. The core game mechanic has the player running along a set of three subway tracks jumping back and forth trying to avoid moving trains, hurdles, and other obstacles.
The co-developers of Subway Surfers, Kiloo Games, have sent termination warnings to all staff, indicating a shutdown.
Subway surfers and Clash of Clans has respectively topped the chart of Top 10 most downloaded and All-Time Consumer spend mobile games of the decade
Released last May 2012, Kiloo Games' Subway Surfer has become the first mobile game to hit a total of 1 billion downloads on Google Play Store.
