GamesCampus, publisher of many popular Free to Play MMOs, announced today the plans for its biggest Black Friday sale yet. Players will be able to take advantage of huge discounts for all their favourite free online games. Shot Online, Scarlet Legacy, 9 Dragons, Heroes in the Sky and Asda 2 will all be participating in the sale.
TheParanoidGamer: Leading online game publisher, GamesCampus.com, announced today that it will take over the North American service for the free-to-play martial arts MMO, 9Dragons, currently serviced by Gamersfirst. GamesCampus will honor the transfer of all accounts in good standing and all official items earned or purchased in the game will be transferred if players opt-in between before September 15th. GamesCampus’ service will launch on September 20th.
Always wish I had time for free-to-play games like these MMOs. There has to be some redeeming qualities to them.
I always hate having to port characters from one thing to another, such a pain and half the time it never works without all kinds of support emails.
2010 was not a remarkable year for the MMO industry. While no major MMOs shut down, certain shutdowns certainly did make history for their remarkable exit. Three MMO shutdowns - plus one other MMO that seems to be out of commission long before launch - made their mark on history last year.
