Last Medal of Error, complete zero support post launch left bad taste in my mouth and $60 hole in my pocket... So Its a definite skip for me on this one 2

topekomsi4266d ago

Bro i felt the same way, however i thought the campaign in the last MoH was near perfect (in scope and story), Everything i have seen shows vast improvement, especially in multiplayer. So many factions, buddy system, frostbite 2. I almost guarantee this game will trump MoH 2010,

DirtyLary4266d ago (Edited 4266d ago )

Everytime I see a new promo for this game it just screams cash grab. Movie to sell maps, $60 beta invite ect..

Staying clear away from this release.

CPTN MITCHELL4265d ago

@ razzdazz i feel The same way with every cod game thats why I skip mw3 for Bf3 and now is this one over blck ops 2. Moh 2010 had a great story

urwifeminder4265d ago

Ill be skipping as it will use origin ive had way to many problems so will crysis 3 i guess its a shame i was looking forward to them awell move on.

DeadlyFire4265d ago

Origin doesn't exist on consoles yet. So ya know.

Another thing you should note is that Origin is new. It has bugs, glitches, and problems just as Steam did for a long while. People hated it and tore it to shreds bashing it, but now it is the most loved and used digital service out there with 50 Million users. As time goes on say in 2013 or so we should see most of Origin's problems start to disappear.

urwifeminder4265d ago

Um i know origin is not on consoles but this game is on pc i think and is made by ea so i figure it will use origin and that doesnt work for everyone you only have to look at the forums no more ea games at all for me.

DeadlyFire4265d ago

Crysis 3 is not an EA Game. You fail at knowledge.

Crysis 3 is developed by CryTek! It is only published by EA. All they do is fund putting it on the shelves. Therefore it does not have Origin requirement unless developer says hell yeah I want that crap. Crysis 1, and 2 are actually available on STEAM.

Yeah Medal of Honor is owned by EA. They have not said officially if Medal of Honor will or will not use Origin. EA didn't put Origin towards players of Star Wars TOR either so its possible they won't with Medal of Honor as well. So far there are only a small number of EA games that I know of that require Origin. They are few in number.

As I said before in my post above this one. Origin is still the newborn. Its going to make mistakes and have bugs/glitches. Learn, find a work around and use it until its patched. If not don't bother with it like what you are doing.

I am more than 100% certain Crysis 3 is not an EA game as Crytek owns that and its built on an engine that is not crafted by EA games. Which it is claimed 2012 and onward will be all Frostbite 2 or greater.

9 Video Game Sequels So Bad They Killed The Series

Alongside death, taxes and terrible Adam Sandler movies, video game sequels are just another crushing inevitability of life. Sequels and franchises are the lifeblood of the industry, so you can bet any halfway successful game will be aiming towards at least five more follow-ups and spin-offs in pursuit of more delicious money.

Yet even major franchises tend to run themselves into the ground eventually, where they can either reboot themselves and come back stronger than ever (think the new Tomb Raider games) or stay buried in the past.

Old school would be Wolfenstein, Doom, Hexen, Duke Nukem, and Rise of the Triad.

More recently Half-Life 2, BioShock (original), Wolfenstein the new order, Timesplitters 2, Medal of Honour.

Some personal favourites Singularity, Resistance series, Killzone Series, Bulletstorm, Dishonored.

Kallisti2846d ago (Edited 2845d ago )

Duke Nukem was a side scroller on Dos

@robition Duke Nukem wasn't a FPS 'til the 3rd one, Duke Nukem 3D

robtion2845d ago

Sure. Talking about FPS's here though.

Great concept(Nectar) and fun but a bit of an iffy execution and didn't live up to its promise. I finished it at launch. Shame they didn't quite get it right.

5 Video Games That Ruined Their Franchises Badly

The video game industry is one based on the backs of its scholarly properties. Like movies and books, it’s a space that draws vigorously on strong sequels and innovative new thoughts. Notwithstanding, not all sequels surpass the enormity of their forerunners, and a chosen few of them check the start of the end for their →

Assassin's Creed series was ruined after Black Flag, Ubisoft made it annually game. I played Dead Space 1 and 2; were awesome but Dead Space 3 failed to make gosip. As MOH Warfighter was good game

NukaCola2901d ago

Black Flag was the redeemer after 3. ACIV is my favorite of the series. Unity was bad, Syndicate is actually pretty good. So they are up and down. As for Dead Space, I thought the original was like Uncharted series. The first one was a great story and a little rough, but #2 was incredible through and through. Uncharted 3 is awesome, unfortunately DS3 was indeed a terrible terrible game. Warfighter was a good game, but aren't we all burned out on shooters???

Stupid2901d ago

That's right Assassin's Creed series had awesome games till AC Black Flag, AC III was terrible

monkeyDzoro2901d ago

I disagree on AC Black Flag. Black Flag was a good PIRATE game but a very mediocre AC.

CoNn3r_B2901d ago

I preferred Revelations over Brotherhood. AC Brotherhood had such a boring story while AC Revelations tied everything up very well for Ezio and Altair, if I was going to pick a game where it all started going downhill for me it would be AC 3 but despite that AC 1,2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 4, Rogue and Syndicate are all good games.

RondoMachete2901d ago

Lost Planet as far as I remember went like dead space with the third game (round based type play) it just felt like it was just a map clearing game with multiple horde survival. Call Of duty went and died long ago. Ghosts didn't help its cause but now we have three development houses it's going from bad to worse. GTA to me anyway was saved with five to me the driving up until then was awful. Mario and sonics died along time ago to in my eyes.

Bobafret2900d ago

These titles get worse and worse.
