Last week G.R. Bradley at Rant Gaming wrote an article discussing the pros and cons of Mario Kart DS in comparison to Mario Kart 7. She thought she'd go ahead and take the time to write a review on Mario Kart 7 alone, especially for those considering purchasing the game.
Mario Kart 7 has been unexpectedly updated for the first time in more than a decade.
Even after a decade, this handheld iteration of Mario Kart is still magic.
Nintendo will be shutting down the eShop for the 3DS and Wii U completely in 2023. Makes sure to check out these games before they do.
If they're not important enough to be held on their own official storefront then they're not important enough to give your money to Nintendo.
Buy these, physically, used or simply emulate them.
This article comes off as nothing more than advertising games that Nintendo, themselves, don't care to offer you... buy now!
Wait hang on where all the outrage? I swear when Sony tried to do this with PS3 last year. There was outrage from all corners of the gaming universe.
Why does no one care Nintendo is doing it?
It's lame that it is shutting down. Now I feel rushed buying all the rpgs I missed out on the system.
You guys know that even archive.org has 3DS roms, and all other console roms. I'm downloading 846GB of 3DS roms and will add the best games to my soon to be soft modded New 3DS 😁. Might as well throw in DS and other emulators in there to. Guys this would be the best way to play and enjoy the 3DS. Just need to buy a bigger micro SD card and format it to FAT32, which you can if it's even 256GB or larger there are ways.
Having owned this game for going on a year this holiday, I can safely say it's a must buy for every 3DS owner. This game is so good I would buy DLC tracks for it in a heartbeat Nintendo.
Def the best MK since MK64. It has a huge amount of tracks (16 old, 16 new, and 7 battle mode maps). It has alot of stuff to unlocks and some customization. I like that i can use my mii, thats pretty cool. Flying was a great addition (well technically gliding) and online is robust and smooth as butter. Im glad they even have offline battle mode with bots. My one gripe is that they left out the single greatest thing to ever happen to Mario Kart, Double Decker Fort! Its missing the best battle map EVER! Its a fan favorite and im super dissapointed. They did add the battle course 1 from the snes which was my second fav ever so i guess i can forgive that glaring omission. Otherwise its hands down the best MK ever. Nice mix of nostalgia and new.
I wouldve liked to see some other tracks like wario stadium, toads turnpike, and some others but its stuffed to the brim with content. Loved the new tracks that are one long race instead of 3 laps of a single race. Damn now im going to have to pop this in.
To be perfectly honest with everyone, this is the best MK game ever made! My only gripe is that I wish they had more levels available. I truly hope Nintendo does some type of DLC of new and classic stages, instead of making a new version, as I find it that this game is one of the greatest kart racers ever created. I have been enjoying it eben more with my new 3DSXL, so much more appealing than the original 3DS.
